To join the team, you may register
on-line ahead of time
(for instructions click here) as it really helps us to be
prepared when you start. On-line registration is activated
and we can take new members any time. During your first
practice we can answer any questions you may have, help to make
sure your swimmer is placed in the correct practice group, make
your account active, and take pictures to attach to your website
account. Please bring gear to swim on your first day.
With swimmers travelling from up to an hour in every direction
to be a part of our team, the Killer Whales are the heart of
swimming in the 4-states area. Our club is a year-round
competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching
and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of
our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve
swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability,
from novice to international competitor, by providing the right
combination of instruction, motivation and team atmosphere.
We are a member club within USA Swimming, the greatest youth
sports organization in the world, and the very same governing body
that chooses our US Olympic team! Our coaching staff has
access to the most comprehensive training and certification program
for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide
assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality
time and safety will always be a priority.
The Jasper County Killer Whales, a non profit club, is run by
its elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members
are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team
activities and fundraisers.
We are constantly growing and training young swimmers to
maintain a well rounded competitive swim team. Thank you for
joining us. We are looking forward to meeting you. Please feel free
to ask another member
or coach any question you may have.
